<aside> 📝 The objective of this guide is to help new and experienced community organizers start and sustain non-monogamy mixer events in their communities. By “mixer,” we mean a social event that is usually open to the public and is not centered around sex or dating.
Social mixers play a central role in developing local community. They offer a central waypoint for those looking to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and explore new ideas. Non-monogamous mixers in particular, are great for normalizing various relationship structures and philosophies, meeting new partners, and developing a larger community.
By starting your own event, you will be part of the movement to build non-monogamous community and normalize alternate relationship styles.
